1. Contracting party and scope
These terms govern the contract between you and the operator of CVSwiss named in the imprint. They apply when you create an account or buy a product.
2. The service
CVSwiss is an online tool for creating CVs and motivation letters for the Swiss job market, with AI assistance, templates, translation, an ATS check, a job search and an application tracker. Creating and previewing documents is free. Downloading them requires a purchase.
3. Products and prices
Single CV: CHF 5, a one-time payment for one download, with no renewal. Job-Search Abo: CHF 15 per month. The subscription renews automatically every month until you cancel it and is charged at the start of each period through our payment provider Stripe. Prices are in Swiss francs and are shown before you pay.
Subscribers keep the price at which they subscribed. We announce a price change by e-mail at least 30 days before it applies, and you can cancel before it does.
4. How the contract is concluded
You choose a product, check it in the summary and are taken to the secure payment page of Stripe, where you can still correct or abandon the order. The contract is concluded when you confirm the payment there. We confirm every purchase by e-mail.
5. Cancelling the subscription
You can cancel your subscription online at any time, with no notice period: with the form at cvswiss.ch/abo-kuendigen, which needs no login, or with "Cancel subscription" on your dashboard or in Settings. You can also email hello@cvswiss.ch. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for: nothing more is charged afterwards, and you keep access until that date. We confirm every cancellation by e-mail.
6. 7-day money-back guarantee
Contact us by e-mail at hello@cvswiss.ch within 7 days of any payment, including a renewal, and we refund the full amount, no reason needed. Refunds go back to the original payment method. A refunded subscription ends with the refund.
7. Right of withdrawal for consumers in the EU and EEA
If you are a consumer living in the European Union or the European Economic Area, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of concluding it, without giving a reason. To do so, send us a clear statement by e-mail to hello@cvswiss.ch. We refund your payment within 14 days of receiving it, using the original payment method. The 7-day guarantee above applies in addition.
8. AI-generated content
Texts are generated with artificial intelligence and can contain errors. Please check every document before you use it. You remain responsible for the accuracy of what you send to employers.
We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence. For slight negligence our liability is excluded to the extent the law permits.
9. Fair use
An account is for one person. We may suspend accounts used for automated mass generation, for resale or for sharing access. If we end a paid plan for that reason, we refund the unused part of the period.
10. Your data
How we handle your data is described in the privacy policy. You can ask us to delete your account and its content at any time in your account settings. Deleting an account does not cancel a subscription: please cancel it first.
11. Applicable law
Swiss law applies. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country you live in continue to apply, and you may bring a claim before the courts the law provides for you.
